    1. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! OMG!! OMFG!!This book was the worst and the best of this WHOLE FUCKIN' SERIES!Jan Irving took everything insane about the previous four books and cranked it up ten notches. This book has no plot. No, seriously. Not a drop of plot. It was a bunch of sex scenes strung together with absolutely inane things happening in between. It pretended to have a plot for half a second at the end.It was all "No, wait, I'm actually gonna have something happen right now."And I was all "Oh, STF [...]

    2. This fifth volume of the series doesn’t just have external battles, with the storyline continuing from the previous books, it adds a stronger than usual internal one as well. Fighting the past and the prejudice and incorrect conclusions that come from it isn’t easy. For Micah, who is suddenly confronted with several truths about himself he doesn’t want to accept, it is almost fatal.Micah is not easy to like. He has a horrible past, which explains a lot of his behaviors, but it doesn’t ex [...]

This is an entertaining series that sucks me in every time. Finally we get insights into what happened to Luka’s presumed dead brother Micah, something that has had this reviewer on pins and needles. Micah Danvers is a deputy for the local police department and is hiding more than one secret from the general public. He’s running from memories of the p [...]

    4. A have mixed feelings about this book.I like this series, but, I'm afraid there were a few things that I disliked about this story. Before I continue, I must say this is only my humble opinion and other readers won't agree with me at all, other readers may find this story just perfect. The MC Micha, was one of the worst heroes I have ever read, and I disliked him from page one. Sasha was a very strong, likeable character although his masochistic tendencies weren't my cup of tea."Hit me with a tree [...]

    5. JUST AS GREAT AS THE OTHER BOOKS IN SERIESThis book is a great addition to the uncommon cowboys series. This is the first time I have written a review, but I felt since I needed to counter the one star reviews. One of the best things about this series is there is the individual vulnerability of her characters and how she makes each book unique from the other. The difference is this book is there is a very feminine man and it has a strong BDSM. If you have a problem with either, then this book is [...]

    6. Sasha was beautiful. Micah was confusing.Sasha was such an unique, shining character, he got me to the end of the book.Micah was such a wishy-washy, confusing character, I gave this book 1 star.In theory, Micah could have been a wonderful character: tragic backstory, denial of sexuality and one amazing temptation (Sasha). But it was hard to pin down Micah's personality or understand where he was coming from. His fear of attracting attention, while logical, was poorly explained and his actions ev [...]

    7. I liked parts of this, and otherst so much, I wasn't a fan of Micah as a character and I dunno skipped over things I would have wanted to read about. And there was a lot of sex that wasn't to my liking. Still looking forward to more in this series, but I enjoyed the first 3 stories more than these last 2.

    8. I really liked this fifth part of "Uncommon Cowboys" series. Overall, the main plot wasn't to cheesy or to sappy. The story was well written and pulling till the end, at list for my taste. Micah was a careful shifter. Once he saw Sasha, his careful built mask started to crack.I liked it.

    9. I like the triple threat of Micah (shifter, policeman, and cowboy!) but was not as enamored with Sasha and his new age androgyny. They had a rocky romance, but it was still quite entertaining to read.

    10. Note: In the book 4 we had Luka (twin brother of Micah Danvers) and his partner Charles DanversHum, something doesn't work here lol!
