    1. STRAIGHT TO THE HEART by author Samantha Hunter is a January 2012 Harlequin Blaze release.Joanna Wyatt gets a job waitressing in Ben Callahan’s Texas roadhouse. She does a good job. And is hot to look at! Ben finds his eyes stray toward her once too often. He feels an electric current whenever he comes near her. The very air sizzles around them. Yet, what Ben doesn’t know, Joanna is an US Marshall sent undercover to protect Ben. He had witnessed a murder and the killer was after him to stop [...]

    2. As most people that really know me, this review should be a piece of cake, right? Harlequin book? Check. Blaze imprint? Check. Samantha Hunter? Check. Forming the words that will have you running out to buy this book based on my review? Sort of. I know you’re thinking that the review will be bad but in reality, it will be good. J It’s just hard to form the words other than this book rocks…When US Marshal Joanna Wyatt was assigned to be undercover to make sure a witness testified at a trial [...]

    3. Samantha Hunter has become a must read for me and her latest Blaze is no exception. A strong heroine,a sexy hero, an intriguing sub plot, sizzling sex scenes and of course a heart warming HEA, what more can you want?US Marshal Joanna Wyatt has been assigned to witness protection, much to her disgust. She'd much rather bring down the bad guys, but orders are orders. Posing as a waitress at former SEALS Ben Callahan's Texas roadhouse gives her the perfect cover to keep an eye on the reluctant witn [...]

    4. I loved this kick-ass heroine and smooth Texan hero. I don't remember reading a suspenseful Blaze before and it was a fresh, fun take on the line, and a sexy interpretation of the forced-proximity trope.I would've given this four stars if the couple hadn't had unprotected sex. I know this is romance, but something like that jolts me right out of the narrative. And contraception can be sexy! I couldn't believe this otherwise totally awesome heroine would let there be "no barriers between them" af [...]

    5. Like your heroine's kick butt and your heroes equally tough? Ben is a former Navy SEAL (and he's still got it!) Joanna is a US Marshall, used to catching her man. Ben doesn't want her protection. Joanna must protect him at all costs. Problem is, chemistry is undeniable and so is their attraction.A great winter read to heat you up. The love scenes were inventive and unique. Ben is a true blue hero.

    6. Ok so I know I am shamelessly listening to the Harlequin Blaze Series on audio book but some are better then others. This one was not so good. I don't like it when the characters fall in love too fast like in a month. Doesn't make it close to believable. Maybe I also didn't like it because the narrator was too breathy and the performance wasn't so good. Oh well 2 stars from me.

    7. Loved this book. It reminded me of Walker Texas Ranger. Joanna was the best heroine I have read in a while. Ben was amazing. I loved the romance scenes and the story. Just one question for you.How would you feel if you were a Navy SEAL and being protected by a female United States Marshall?

    8. What a fun and sexy couple! She's a U.S. Marshal, protecting this former Navy SEAL who witnessed a crime, and they create sparks and heat that just won't quit. I really enjoyed this story.

    9. Standard Mills and Boon - enough said, but you know if you want an easy read that's not too taxing and has all the best bits of girlie novel romance then go for this!!! :)
