    1. This is a cute, short story about a bear who only eats chocolate. I think it's a great teaching tool for little readers who are picky and only want to eat what they want. It teaches them about consequences from poor decisions and how to make better ones. The only con to this story is that it could use a good edit. There are several grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors throughout the story that are easy to spot and should have been fixed before publishing (this is a running theme with all of [...]

    2. An older audienceI thought this was a good preschool story, but my son ended up having to ask me to stop for vocab help. I was expecting something sillier and younger.

    3. The Bear who loved chocolate- an easy to read book which to be honest was a bit dull and flat. It could be suggested though because I had read such a beautiful book just minutes before, that I was still hyped about that one, and this one could only be disappointing from the start. The book was about a bear who would only eat chocolate, until one day he had run out. He bumped in to a family, who conveniently had more chocolate and co-incidentally dropped it all for the bear to eat. He got sick an [...]

    4. Leela Hope’s short picture book, The Bear Who Loved Chocolate, is beautifully illustrated with delightful images of a bear whose paw is dipped, not in honey pots, but in chocolate. Children will love to spot the rejected foods, and the watching turtle. Guardians will relate to the motherly promise of “lots of other yummy things to eat.” But sweet cuddly bears are less cuddly when they interrupt a chocolate picnic. And tummy ache ensues. The story is fun, the lesson is wise and naturally tol [...]

He notices the kids in the woods have a big chocolate bar and he wants it. 6. did a child write it?This was written by a seven year old. It was poorly worded, grammar was wrong, and punctuation/capitalization was incorrect. I would not recommend this story. You would do better to make one up yourself. I would never use this in my classroom.

    7. Very cute. Adorable little story that educates the importance of eating right. My little one loved the illustrations. End of my review
