    1. An enjoyable, fast-paced, and quick read that wears its science fiction trappings lightly - it's not entirely impossible to imagine a similar novel set on an 18th-century sailing vessel instead of a Mars-bound spaceship - and that does a good job of spicing up its narrative with a good central mystery and a nice cast of characters. At times, Renovo does feel a little like an extended video game cutscene: Wakeling's attempts to flesh out his heroine's backstory, and to have the supporting cast sp [...]

    2. This book was awesome! Once again, the author has taken me on a rollercoaster ride, where I never know what to expect next. On top of that, the characters are well-rounded, and the worldbuilding and descriptions are excellent. I'm already chomping at the bit to read more; especially with the way the book ended.*Note: I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, but this has in no way influenced my opinion of this book, and the comments made in this review are based entirely [...]

    3. What an awesome start to a new scifi series! I love this mix of lost in space, mystery, and on-ship politics. It's a great premise for a promising series, and Dr. Rachel Galliance is a very interesting character. Her past is entwined with the mystery that had the Renovo drifting through space, and the reason why she is at times in impossible situations. Loyalties will shift and be questions and the future is shaky and far from safe. Lovely read indeed, can't wait for the next installment!

    4. Good writing, good characters, good story. An easy read with a lot of action. What's not to like?I'll be going on to the other books in the series, and looking at other books by the author.

    5. 4 stars!I was lucky to win this book in a giveaway in December 2015 and did not have the time to read it until I was on holiday this August. The general idea of the book spoke to me but since there had been a while between winning it and reading it I was a little 'out of it' when I first started reading it.After a few chapters I had that same vibe that I got from watching things like Start Trek and Babylon 5 when i was younger.Geoff did a great job of creating this world on and outside of the Re [...]

    6. I'm not a fan of Sci-Fi, but I loved this one. It's well written, well paced and it managed to keep me alert till the very end. Not only that, but it's easy to follow and a fun read! Highly recommend it.

    7. Twisted SciFi.A science fiction novel with so many twists that it made my head spin. I really enjoyed the varied cast of characters and the fast paced plot, as they drift through space into the unknown. Very well written, believable and thrilling.
