This is by far my favorite of the Pine Point novels. And I loved the other stories, this one is just that great. Nate is a bartender, getting by, having fun, not ready for a commitment. The story opens with him finding out he fathered a child four years ago. He is overwhelmed of course, but then is forced to take custody of Autumn almost immediately due to devastating circumstances. I felt so sad for Lexie and her little daughter Autumn but out of tragedy both Autumn and Nate got to know each other and formed a strong bond of love. Nate had to grow up fast and he would never have coped with single parenthood if it hadn't have been for Max. I loved the way their relationship grew, the interruptions at inopportune moments, either from Autumn or Bethany and just the day to day happenings of small town life. Oh my God I so loved this book. I loved the divinely written characters and the absolutely loved the quite touching and sometimes funny story-line. A strong and lovable leading man in Nate and the beautiful and charming librarian that is Maxinewonderful. Autumn's Allure is a cute, small-town romance. It's a sweet read that, for the most part, is a happy read as Nate navigates becoming a father to four-year-old Autumn for the first time.As a short easy read, this kept me entertained.
