    1. 4 It took you 9 years to figure that out? Stars *Spoilers*This is the second book in the nightwalkers series. Gideon is a Ancient healer and the oldest surviving member of his race, the demon. Magdalegna is the Demon King's baby sister. 9 years earlier Gideon caught up in a moment, started making out with Magdalegna in the gardens. He ends up pulling away freaking out over his loss of control and her young age and telling himself it is the madness of the hallowed moons. Calls her a child and the [...]

    3. 2.5/3 starsGideon, the second book in the Nightwalkers series, was an okay read. Unlike Jacob, the first book, which I loved, this book felt long, analytical, somewhat boring, and very redundant. The author kept reiterating the plot from the first book. These books are meant to be read in order, and it was disappointing that the author didn't treated it as such. Also, the two main characters, Gideon and Magdalena, had very little, if any, chemistry between them. I even found myself, toward the [...]

    5. After a slow, rocky start (the first 2-3 chapters), this second book in the Nightwalkers series really takes off and doesn't slow down for breath. There was too much exposition and re-capping in the beginning, no matter how relevant some of it was, and this lost it a star (it took me two tries to read this). But the chemsitry and development of Gideon and Magdelegna was excellent, and you get to meet the Vampire Prince, Damien, and the Queen of the Lycanthropes, Siena. Bella and Jacob feature pr [...]

    6. Re-read by audiobook. I'm a little tired of the Romanian-ish accent. And then they threw in a Russian accent. I didn't like this one any better Previous review 07/15/10 I'm going to give this book 3.5 stars. The beginning was a little boring. I thought Legna was a little weird around Gideon and couldn't figure out why she was throwing fits everytime she saw him. When it was finally explained that about 8 years before he saw her in the garden, gave her some really intense kisses, pushed her away [...]

    7. Quick review:Cover: Nice Rating:NC-17 Steaminess: HOT Thumbs Up:3.75Overall: A bit predictableCharacters: Well donePlot: Another heroine who becomes a heroPage Turner: Yes Series Cont.? Yes Recommend:YesBook Boyfriend: GideonSUMMARY (50 words or less)Honestly I like book one better. This wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as good as the first. I kind of knew what would happen in this book based on the last. It seemed like there was a lot of set up in future book for other characters in this one. For [...]

    8. I was very interested in finding out what was up with Magdalegna and Gideon, since he is one of the most powerful Demons, a healer like no other and having lived over a millennium. With his platinum hair and silver grey eyes…. wow….Once the imprinting process started, there was nothing they could do to keep away from each other. Lovely story, enjoyed it a lot.[image error]

    9. ^^GIDEON UP!^^The second book in the NightWalker series is not as good as the first but it does spin a very interesting story and introduces you to characters that you cant help but love and be intrigued by. This world of demons is unlike any other, they are the earth able to rule over the elements with strength and power. I give this book a 3.5 out of 5. I liked it but I didn’t love but I still gobbled it down.Gideon is an Ancient being one of the oldest demon all he knows is solitude, and ha [...]

    10. Kadim, küstah, kibirli beden iblisi Gideon. ❤Toplumunun en yaşlı üyesi Gideon. ❤Ben Jacob gibi olmam diyen Gidion. ❤Kontrolü elinde tutabileceğini zanneden Gideon. ❤Mühürlendiği eşini dokunmadan nirvanaya çıkaran Gideon. ❤Allah'ım! Hastayım, tedavi et beni Gideon. ❤Serinin ilk kitabını genel olarak beğenmiş olmama rağmen beni asıl meraklandıran en başından beri Gideon olmuştu. Hadi ama, adam astral seyahate çıkıyor. Akışımda da fangirl'lüğü ile beni m [...]

    11. Wow. That was a huge letdown! I loved the first book in the series, Jacob. But I really did not like this one. I did not like Gideon at all. He was a cold jerk. I really think he was modeled after Gregori from Feehan’s Dark series. But unlike Gregori, he has no idea how to treat his mate. There was zero heat. Zero chemistry. I did not like Lena either. She was a doormat when it came to him. He kissed her 9 or 10 years prior and left her hanging by calling her a child and saying not nice things [...]

    12. I was compelled to give this 5 stars because of its success in gripping my attention back to this series alone after the awfully disappointing of the first one.Now this is what I call a good romance! Here we have Gideon, the enigmatic Ancient healer of the demon race, and Legna, the kid sister of the King of the demon race and secret admirer of Gideon.I already liked Gideon from the first book, perhaps even more so because of his hostility towards Isabella, the heroine of the first book who I ab [...]

    13. So, Gideon. I really liked him in the first book but now I looove him. I love that he and Legna Imprinted really early in the book and that they realized that and their love for each other very quickly. Many think that he's cold and unfeeling, but he's not; he's just afraid of how his emotions make him feel. Good Lord, he's an excellent lover. I mean, the guy gave Legna an orgasm without even freaking touching her. He has awesome powers and skills. I love when he realized the sound he was hearin [...]

    14. I can't believe the reviews on this book are not more positive, I really loved it. I enjoyed the first book, Jacob, well enough to read the next one at least, and I'm very glad I did because I loved Gideon. I've seen some complaints on other reviews that the first love scene doesn't appear until quite late in the book, but for me, this really built the anticipation and when it did finally happen it was lovely. The love scenes were certainly not the hottest I have read, but I felt that they were [...]

    15. I don't think series is for me. I found this book kinda boring. Pretty much nothing happened for the first half of the book. I did like the world the author created but don't think I can continue on.

    16. demonloversbooksandmore3.5 stars Okay, my rating on this book is low even though I love the story. In fact I will continue on in the series specifically because I love the storyline and the world Jacqueline Frank built. My complaint is the way she writes is unnecessarily and overly formal, repetitive and way too overly-analytical. My best example was when Gideon and Legna finally got to the point of being intimate and the author spent like 8 pages on the mental foreplay. But it wasn't really forep [...]

    17. I am sorry to say that I struggled with this one. It was an act of sheer will and perseverance that allowed me to even get to the end. I can't say that I didn't skim a few pages hear and therebut I did finish it! I loved the first book, Jacob, and couldn't wait for this one. I could've/should've waited and saved my time. Legna is someone I couldn't wait to hear more about. I loved her heart and soul that she showed in Jacob, but unfortunately it didn't continue in this one. I found her character [...]

    18. The second book in the Nightwalkers paranormal romance series, and I'm really liking it. Many fans of this genre complain that it takes 228 pages before this book has it's first sex scene, but I didn't mind. Ms. Frank spends those 228 pages endearing the characters to you - you get to know them inside and out and see them interact with all sorts of situations. Personally, if I don't love the characters, then I don't enjoy the book. This series does a great job of making you "part of the family", [...]

    19. I Just love this series, it is wonderfully Fresh and the characters are Fantastic!! If you haven't read The NightWalkers series you should give it a go I loved this book about Gideon and Magdelegna it was lovely, Gideon is One Sexy Demon!! You get to rediscover more about Jacob and Bella and we get to meet new charactersAnd it lets us no what finally happens between Kane and Corrine!!!

    20. İlk kitaba 5* vermiş biri olarak ben de anlayamadım durumu. Bir türlü sarmadı gitti, ama yine de sonraki kitapları okuyacağım çünkü çiftler gayet ilgi çekici.

    21. The author is just as wordy in this one as the first. She’s using big words, and a lot of them, which makes reading tedious, and I find myself losing interest and checking out. The whole drinking exotic animal milk, like zebra’s, because it’s like alcohol to a demon, truly is disgusting, stupid and weird.I’m surprised how far Frank went to copy Gregori in Dark Magic by Christine Feehan. Gideon has silver eyes, hair of about the same length, and he ties it back with a leather thong. The o [...]

    22. Audiobook version narrated by Xe SandsStory – 2 starsNarration – 4 starsIt’s probably a good thing I picked the audiobook version of this book because there were a few elements that may have caused me to stop reading. In the case of the audiobook, I found the narration to be a mitigating factor to my generally “meh” interpretation of the story.Magdelegna and Gideon’s story, on the surface, should have appealed to me more that Isabella and Jacob’s. A more mature couple where the pri [...]

    23. I was so ready for Gideon's book after reading Jacob's, he is the oldest of the Demons, but of course still mega hot, so don't fear there are no saggy man bums and wrinklyother things, as the eldest, an Ancient he is the most powerful demon, but he has been living a solitary life as a self infliced punishment for the wrongs he committed in his long past. That is until Legna, the Demon King Noah's empath sister comes along and totally rocks his world. I wanted to like this much more then I actual [...]

    24. This is the second book in the series.Gideon is an Ancient, a healer, who has taken his duties seriously for the 1000 years he has been alive. He is known for great wisdom and is well respected among his race of demons. But he is vulnerable to the primitive desires of his race during the time of the hallowed moon, Samhaim. Nine years ago , he lost his composure with his king's baby sister, Magdelegna. He berated himself for his weakness for Legna is but a mere child to his age. He exiled himself [...]

    25. I did read the first in this series Jacob, and felt it was a decent start to a new series. So, when I found a cheap used copy of this one, I figured what the heck?Ugh, I wish I hadn't bothered. I didn't even finish it, and I just don't NOT finish a book. It's only happened less than a handful of times.I felt like it took way too long to get to the story for this book. It seemed like a quarter of the book was spent rehashing the first one. And not even creatively. The dialogue felt so forced and [...]

    26. I did not enjoyed the second installment in this series as much as I did the firt book in it, Jacob.I got a bit bored at the beggining. It took me half the book to get a bit onterested in this couple. The chemestry between them wasn't too stong. I did not feel a strong conection between them. And in my opinion, Guideon wasn't too interesting. Although I did like a lot to know more about the Lycans and the vampires. I found really intriguing this new paranormal world that Jacquelyn Frank has crea [...]

    27. If new to the series, do not start with this book. You really need to read Jacob first. While many series keep characters in the fringe, this series appears to keep the characters from previous books very much involved in the story line and you will have difficulty following if not read in order.I didn't enjoy this book as much as Jacob. The characters are still likable, but for some reason this one lacked the excitement. Maybe because unlike the first book, this one focused not on a mystery, bu [...]

    28. This is a different story than the first part.Like Gideon and his brutal honesty and directness, his logic.Legna behaves like many typical female characters. However, the way that these characters influencing each other is a great, refreshing and healthy.Yes, they wanted to change some things on one another, but nothing too much, nothing terrible and unreasonable. Concessions were minimal, perfected them - this is perhaps the healthiest compromise the healthiest person I met in the books.
