    1. This is an odd book. I came across the title in my non-fiction reading about the changing dynamics of family life. Written just before I was born in 1974, The Night Daddy is the simple story of a young girl and her dreamlike relationship with an unnamed adult man referred throughout the book only as "Night Daddy". Nothing inappropriate ever takes place between them. I found the entire story rather heartbreaking hence my two star rating-I don't like this story's suggestion to all the lonely child [...]

    2. I read this in fifth grade and i just remember really liking it and thinking most of my classmates would not appreciate it.

    3. Great, modern tale about a lonely girl and a writer who has to stay with her at night, while her mother is at work Very well-written story about friendship, trust, good and evil in the modern world, and the glorious, magical things everyone of us could find even today.
